About Us

I'm a Midwestern girl, born and raised in New Castle, Indiana. My lifelong fascination with technology began in high school and inspired me to pursue a degree in Management Information Systems from Ball State University. Following graduation, I secured a position in corporate America, where I have held numerous roles, including my most recent role as a Microsoft SharePoint administrator. However, my true passion for entrepreneurship and creativity led me to reduce my work hours to focus on building my own brand - The Good Co.

While technology has always been a significant part of my life, my artistic roots run deep. My grandfather was a talented photographer and painter, and during the 80s and 90s, I spent time with my mom and aunt selling our creations at craft shows. Today, I am proud to be an artist for Penny Lane Publishing, with my work found in major stores like Hobby Lobby, Walmart, Kohls, Kirklands, and Meijer. I have also licensed my artwork to companies, featuring my designs on greeting cards, welcome mats, and more. With typography being my specialty, I am the creator behind all the handcrafted wood signs found at The Good Co.

In addition to my love for tech and art, I also have a passion for vintage finds. There's nothing more exhilarating than scouring auctions, antique stores and estate sales for unique treasures. Although it's always a tough decision to determine which finds I'll keep for myself and which ones I'll feature in my shop, my taste leans towards the industrial side - I am particularly drawn to aged wood, metal, anything with a lot of drawers, nice patina, and captivating lettering.

I take great pride in selecting the finest products for my online and in-person shops, whether it's through auction finds, hand-crafted signs, or curated products. I am passionate about inspiring and assisting others in creating a home that is truly reflective of their personality and style. Come and join me at The Good Co, where we can collaborate and create something beautiful together.
